Introduction
The last two years have been taxing, with students being among the hardest hit. They lost valuable education, especially when it comes to socializing and teamwork both in class and on the playing field. But the shutdown also helped us realize the importance and practicality of having skills that allow us to contribute virtually in a team environment.
Doing Good Experience provides a virtual platform for your son or daughter to solve problems for a good cause. We’re going to work together from January 8th to March 5th to create a fundraiser for a nonprofit, while developing those soft skills that entrepreneurs and team players need to succeed in any economic and political environment.
This is one of those things where you’re gonna say “I really wish we had that when I was a kid!”
This is about practical implementation and execution. Understanding why they’re doing what they’re doing. Getting their hands dirty as they see what it takes to develop a solution to a problem from start to finish.
As an entrepreneur and consultant for Startups and small businesses, I see time and again the difference between an idea and a business: implementation. The ability to execute. So we’re gonna execute with the guidance of mentors who are entrepreneurs and project managers, business owners and marketing professionals.
The results will make parents and loved ones proud.
We are going to work hard for a real, quantifiable outcome that will make you proud. It’s not class. We’re not hand-holding. There’s no participation trophy. Just, on March 5th, how much of an impact your son’s team has made on your community.
